Speaking of bizarre changes, they made all level geometry in the JP release of DK64 slightly brighter. This wasn't a screen filter, but instead changing the vertex colors for all map files. (Left: All other versions, Right: JP).
This was changed back for the Lodgenet "release".

Unfortunately wasn't able to go to GDQ this year despite donk getting in. However, @2dos.dk64randomizer.com was incredibly generous and got me one of the staff shirts regardless. Great run on stage and glad that we got to kick cancer's butt.

The most unfortunate find is that good Git GUIs are hard to find aside from GH Desktop (which isn't available on Linux).
Gitkraken has some amazing UI, but so many very basic features (like changing branches) is locked behind a paywall. Very disappointing.
GitFiend has been serving me well so far.

I'm now on Linux Fedora KDE instead of Windows, and it's been great so far. Trying to find the alternatives is fun, but guides & recommendations are endlessly helpful
