There’s too much telegenecism. Telegenics, how things “play” and considerations of how things may play are more than costly preoccupations. They’re not distractions, they’re the central thing. Because catharsis theater and other polemic theatrics keep consultants in power and in the chips.

Direct giving to specific people and legitimate causes. In the cause front, do some homework. It’s worth it. For instance a PAC labeling itself as a “.. taxpayer association” only boosts policies that benefit wealthy tax dodgers and those aspiring to become wealthy tax dodgers. Horrible policies.
I'm going to actively say at this point that I don't think people should donate to any Dem-run PACs. What guarantee do we have that they won't give the money to cowards to stave off primary challengers?
