If you are looking for an alternative for some of the same things SAMMI did, I recommend looking at streamer.bot. It's what I use to make all of my sound alerts and shapeshifting on stream work. It's also the secret to my 69 "nice" alert.
If you use or were considering using SAMMI, switch to a different program.
The new sole developer is extremely pro-AI, has already started using it in the code, and is in support of its use for genAI images as well. Everyone who protested this was told to leave the server and stop using SAMMI.

I don't hang out in really huge online communities is the disproportionate amount of anti social guys feeding off of each other in off putting, aggressive ways. This points to an aspect of how loneliness allows companies to manipulate a lot of vulnerable, unstable men into some of these behaviors.
People have a good reason to resist acknowledging the male loneliness crisis. They correctly perceive that women are being blamed and told to fix it.
But the real cause is predatory capitalists who profit on keeping men isolated and online.

i recall a video of a rabbit farmer who was showin how to process a rabbit and when he killed it said "it never gets any easier"
it was a lil surprisin' to see a guy, especially in the outdoorsy field, not be an asshole about killing an animal and tell those affected to "man up"
