Someone who was apparently very naughty in a past life, and now has to spend his life waiting for courts to do things.
My brother has a point.

I'm in this post and it is an affront, gotta say.
“Frog,” said Toad, “if I wash my dishes right now, then I will not have to wash them tomorrow, will I?”

“No,” said Frog. “You will not have to.”

Toad washed and dried his dishes. He put them in the cupboard.

I believe the complaint is that Democrats *were* fighting united, and then a bunch of them chickened out. To put the onus of reconciliation on those who did not break faith makes me think Whitehouse is one of the senators tacitly supporting this betrayal.
The sooner we get past internal recriminations and back to fighting united, the better off we all are — the likelier our victory next November.

It was an extremely blackpilling moment when people got furious at the idea of democrats paying influencers. everyone on the side of democracy thinks they’re too good to be a party hack, everyone opposed to it embraces the role with glee.
But changing that requires a level of involvement and discipline that a lot of D-bashers actually have no appetite for.

I agree with this change, although (of course) not for the same reasons.

Since 1945, the US has fought one (1) defensive war. Labelling all our various military adventures as "defense" is begging the question. A thing's name should truthfully reflect what it is and what it is for.

Detroit. I just think the little 2nd-floor tram running the length of the concourse is neat.
Actually, you know what? Let’s stop complaining for a second. QT this with a GOOD airport. Defend that title as much or as little as you like. But let’s hear about airports that don’t suck.

Is RFK Jr. the worst cabinet secretary in U.S. history?

Like, not just incompetent and corrupt, although both appear to be true, and not just hostile to the mission of the agency he's running, but specifically malevolent in ways likely to cause enormous harm to the common good.

Honestly, good. If the state is determined to kill people, it should do so in a quick, reliable, uncomplicated way, and not in a perverse cosplay of medicine. There's a reason soldiers are equipped with guns instead of pentobarbital or electrified chairs.
A prisoner on South Carolina’s death row is scheduled this week to die by firing squad, the state’s first-ever use of that execution method. Brad Keith Sigmon, convicted of double murder, chose the firing squad over the state’s default execution method, the electric chair.
An American is set to be executed by firing squad. Here’s what to know.
Brad Keith Sigmon, who was convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend’s parents in South Carolina, opted for the firing squad over the electric chair and lethal injection.
