I never posted much over in the bad place, but intend to do so here. I have many observations, some might even be interesting.
The possibility that we will have a free or fair election this year is almost nil. We can only hope that the numbers are so large they cannot be suppressed or refuted.

The price I pay for a bag of coffee at Whole Foods has increased by almost 24% in the last three months. Thanks Trump!
I have heard that a lot of retailers were able to initially absorb the impact of the tariffs, in part due to existing inventories. If this is true, 2026 is going to be pretty bad.

The timing of this post and the reference to the murders being "due to the anger ... caused others through … TDS" suggests strongly that Trump believed that **one or more of his supporters** had committed the murders—and that they had committed the atrocity **justifiably**.

So just finished the most recent season of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" on Hulu. I liked Cheers back in the day, but not sure this is the most well thought out recommendation.

Trump bragging that the Walmart 2025 Thanksgiving meal basket is down 25% from 2024. Totally different meal, with items removed or replaced by cheaper brands. Fresh stuffing and seasoning? Settle for box mix and bland. Sweet potatoes? How about box mac and cheese. And they eliminated a whole pie.

I don't like engaging in conspiracy theories, but... Hegseth has called all top US military commanders from around the world to meet with him in Washington on the day before the probable government shutdown that Trump seems to want. I hope those two things are not connected.
