In the end, a chap from Veezu called to apologise about the wait, and said "tbh, it's going to be another 30-40 minutes".
I can walk it in 22 minutes, so I cancelled the booking.
Ended up ringing another cab co I happened to have saved in my phone he's going to be here in the next 10-15 mins

We don’t have Uber in Chippenham, but instead we have Veezu, which is like Uber, if you bought it from Temu.
The app works the same, but uses local taxis. Getting them to find a driver takes an age. Nice experience once they actually turn up though.

My God it’s good. Excellently cast. Emma Thompson is superb as Zoe, and frankly Ruth Wilson (totally would) can do no wrong in my eyes. The rest of the cast are flawless.

Feeling weary but happy.
I'm home from my annual trip back to Surrey, for a mate's birthday party. There's a theme each year. This year was "Somethone/thing beginning with the first letter of your name". Rather than go as an M&M I went as Eminem. My buddy was "John McClane" from Die Hard.

After two months of not playing #badminton (after tearing my hamstring muscle in my thigh while playing), I cautiously went back to playing this Tuesday and again today.
It seems I'm back to near fitness, although I was VERY careful not to lunge too much!

Since my trusty #iPhone 15 Pro Max has decided it can no longer hold a USB-C cable in its port (I tried clearing it out of any pocket lint etc, before you ask), I’ve switched up to the new 17 Pro Max.
I stuck with the blue because the orange version is “a bit much”. Data transfer now complete.
