But liberals are the crazy ones.
Christian Nationalist, Doug Wilson, confirms that children who don’t accept and follow their parent’s religious beliefs should be turned over to the State for capital punishment (be put to death). This fanaticism is real:

Because the War Powers Act exists, and 40+ years of precedent
Why are no headlines focusing on the unconstitutional and dictatorial nature of this action?

Ok, in light of the attacks on the Fordow, Esfahan, and Natanz sites, this is looking fairly prophetic. I read the tea leaves correctly (again).

So, what happens from here? Short answer: it depends. Here's the things I'm looking at. 1/n
My guess: The US has already made the decision to engage in a mass air campaign against Iran. We have moved the following into theater per open source intel:

40+ KC-46 and KC-135 tankers
48 F-16s
48 F-15Es
24 F-35s
12 F-22s
6 B-2s
2 Carriers (~75 aircraft each)
6 BMD capable ships

I wonder why Trump never says anything about making Mexico a State.

I wonder why there is such a difference in rhetoric, there.

Apropos of nothing, the Khmer Rouge solution to bourgeoisie problems of modern life was to take educated people from the cities and make them work on farms, where most died of starvation and disease.

This, of course, has no connection to any recent proposals anywhere

"But, what do we do when all the politicians are doing a bunch of criminal stuff?"
it's a good thing the brain geniuses running the show at main Justice the last few years made their lodestar "don't look political, even if it means rampant law breaking and outright insurrection go unpunished," it sure did protect the independence and integrity of the DOJ.
The mass resignations at the Justice Department mark the most serious crisis in its history, a darker moment than its previous low point during Watergate.

Kind of insane that our proximity to representation is severely limited by the number of desks that could fit in one room in 1929.

I'm absolutely a fan of the cube root rule and uncapping the House. Just not a fan of people assuming Madison's congressional apportionment amendment was supposed to stand for all time, rather than be amended itself eventually to *continue* reflecting diminishing marginal returns.

Looking back, it all makes sense.

First, he fired the internal watchdogs. Only four days after taking office, Donald Trump fired at least 17 inspectors general in a way that defied the law and commonsense. At the time people asked: Why start with them? Why not give Congress 30 days notice?

"Make government small enough that you can drown it in a bathtub."

They don't want to pay any taxes, and are happy to give themselves and their buddies government-debt funded money.
View from the Hill is that Republicans don't care about the separation of powers qs; they love that Elon is doing this, they couldn't get these cuts passed.

He/they want to kill all taxes that they can't privatize.

The military is fine, because they can invest in LM and RTX.

There's the pattern. Follow where the money will go.

All I can say is this: if Democrats want traditional allies to see the U.S. as a stable international partner, then Democrats will have to stabilize it.

If Dems want the U.S. to function as a democracy, then Democrats will have to democratize it.

The outcomes we want require us to fight for them.
