In the past the empire has got away with its oppression and fooled the people with patriotism and flags. In Gaza social media has allowed us all to see it's evil all too easily. We won't be fooled again.
It’s troubling to me that it’s so entrenched in us growing up that we must fear the Middle East. That they are the bad guys. When all along it was us, and we were just being brainwashed and gas lit by the guys with all the money and power. It’s quite a realisation.
