I used to live off the same exit as Penn Jillette and used to sit at stop lights next to him (he famously has ATHEIST on his plate plus he likes to drive comically small cars)

I’ve been getting chicken feet there for a while and they changed their packaging from “feet” to “paws” which I find absolutely fascinating from a marketing standpoint (they are amazing for a collagen broth but I learned the hard way you gotta remove those nails they do NOT process well)
My Costco has started carrying beef tongue and chicken feet and I have a feeling that it’s not because they’ve suddenly become delicacies

This was actually probably a coyote
I went in the backyard to hose something off and judging by the howling that accompanied it, one of my neighbors has recently gotten a husky- which is fine with me, any distraction from my dogs works for me. But I can’t wait to see if Heimdall will howl back.

This friend is having a baby some time between now and my birthday next month (oh she’s gonna have an adventure with some Irish twins) and I will in fact be watching her wee one again for a few days and I’m pretty excited to borrow a toddler
