Some cishet guy who writes code for a living. He/him. Don't eat the rich, but only because they probably taste nasty. Black lives matter. Trans rights are human rights.

Man, it's almost like voting for things is a good strategy for getting those things.

If you’re in line to beat up on James Dobson when he’s no longer able to defend himself (as he wanted legions of parents to do to their children), stay in line.

I keep an eye on Rogue Trader updates because I figure I'll play it once it's more or less done. They start every update by addressing the players as "Lord Captains" and I keep wondering if it should be "Lords Captain".

These are the things I think about at one AM (and also other times).

In case anyone needed evidence that the stock market is irrational, Tesla's stock goes up every time Musk says he wants to pay more attention to the company. This is how you get the Cybertruck, people. Your best bet is if he stays as far away as possible; maybe get that Mars thing going for real.

Every time I start Clair Obscur, it tells me I should play it with a controller, and then I flip off the screen with both hands before putting them back on a keyboard and mouse as God intended.

Many of our members headed to the Boston #HandsOff rally today but some protested closer to home.

We're still blown away by the turnout in Salem, MA.

Several hundred people protested today in a town with only 45,000 residents. That is amazing!

I'm not Cory Booker's biggest fan, but what he's doing on the Senate floor right now is absolutely the right thing to do, and the rest of the party should take notice. Make a lot of noise. Visibly oppose the administration. And I sure as hell hope he beats Strom Thurmond's record.

I'm usually the one in any of my social circles who's softest on Dem leadership, because there are complexities there that are easy to miss, and the Dems genuinely do a lot more than they get credit for. That said: fuck Chuck Schumer. Jesus Christ, dude.

Alright, folks, I keep seeing this thing going around socials about Coke firing a bunch of people and then calling ICE to deport them. But I can't find any actual news stories about it, and the information I have found suggests it didn't happen. Anybody have any data on this?

I am 100% vote shaming.

We need to do more vote shaming. If you refused to help stop the world’s least subtle fascist goon, you should be ashamed of yourself and I will never stop vote shaming you.

I’m questioning your morals, too. You’re an accessory to hurting people and you knew it.

Shame.
I’m not vote shaming or questioning anyone’s morals, etc. but, the shock is… lot. He’s been president before. How much lived experience do ppl need? Really thinking about how to reach people going forward.
I’m honestly staggered by the number of people who spent a year going “BOTH PARTIES ARE TERRIBLE I CAN’T VOTE FOR BIDEN/HARRIS” who are now running around panicking because the guy who won instead, the guy who was going to win if Dems didn’t, is behaving exactly as he was always going to.

Write them letters.

Show up in their offices.

I've been thinking of a lot of things I could say today, but you know what? I'm going to stick with this: goddammit, America. Why do we have to keep making the same mistakes over and over again?

I caught myself thinking earlier that at least Terry Pratchett dying meant that he didn't have to find out all this stuff about his buddy Neil Gaiman.
