More than 1800 detainees are missing after the closure of Alligator Alcatraz. Their families and lawyers can’t find them and they’ve vanished from the ICE database. Feels like this should be a much bigger story www.miamiherald.com/news/local/i...
Hundreds of Alligator Alcatraz detainees drop off the grid after leaving site
As of the end of August, the whereabouts of two-thirds of more than 1,800 men detained at Alligator Alcatraz during the month of July could not be determined by the Miami Herald.

It is March 2, 2025. My plan was to leave the world on March 2, 2024.

What a difference in a year. I still have bad days. But reasons to stay are easier to find each day.

Thankful for family, for friends, for library kids who ARE going to save the world. Once a library kid, always a library kid 💚

Per Dr Atul Gawande, ex USAID: “All malaria supplies protecting 53 million people, mostly children, including bed nets, diagnostics, preventive drugs, and treatments – terminated.”

There are no words that sufficiently describe this level of cruelty and sadism.

It seems there was a dinner at the WH where a military choir serenaded the orange turd and his guest with a rendition of One Day More from Les Miserables, and the ignorant fools loved it. This is what happens when you don’t read. People mock you to your face. 😹

Even the most disturbing RFK Jr. headline always manages to have a detail inside creepier than you could have imagined. I’m sorry, did you just say Black kids should have a chance to get “re-parented”???? Gift link wapo.st/4hW2xGI

If you are married to someone who has ADHD and you don't, here's a phrase that might help you with your spouse: "Map it out for me."

This is what I say to my wife when she goes from one thing to a seeming non sequitur. In her mind, there is a relationship.

Papers are due next week. One of their sources is a hand written journal. Most didn't have their first draft today. Why? They can't read cursive, so they decided not to do it. I write on the whiteboard in cursive. I guess this explains why they don't take notes.

This is a shocking surrender to tyrannical thought control. It is unlawful for Trump to use federal funds or any other coercive mechanism to compel universities to give up their First Amendment rights or those of their staff & students.

That this happened in the first place, shows what kind of characters are taking control in DC and the Pentagon.

That they took it back -under pressure mind you- makes no difference. They showed their hand nevertheless.
