The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

In most places in this country that’s first degree premeditated murder.
I am opposed to the death penalty and always have been, but if anyone outside of a law enforcement uniform/not under color of state authority did this, it would be life imprisonment without the possibility of parole AT LEAST.

This! Time and again people call for leaders to fight and push back against fascism, to hold accountable those who consistently seek to harm. And time and again, those cries are met with excuses and ineffectual responses that foster more harmful actions. Step up to the task at hand or step aside.

The normalization of this madness is so quick that we’re debating whether a second illegal strike was wrong after an initial illegal strike with no proof of any crime and we’ve already seen just random murders of fishermen normalized with the excuse they’re running drugs, which isn’t legal either.
