The gulf between how I interpret biblical passages and how frothing, angry men in modern churches interpret could not be wider. The act of challenge is met with assertions that even devils know scripture. Therefore I no longer get in these arguments, and focus on being the good i wish to see.

I don't know who I am saying this to, but it is possible to be queer and Christian. SBC is working to overturn SSM. I am unsure how we expect to freely express religion when a dying congregation, who stood with slavery, is working to force their flavor of Christianity.

I feel what isn't being discussed much is how tariffs will raise the cost (while decreasing the quality) of healthcare in the United States. Couple this with rural hospitals and VA closures, and this smells like a completely avoidable crisis.
