I am a firm believer that we all must participate in democracy else we will lose it - as evident in this administration.

For decades, I have heard unreasonable Republicans peddling the idea that compromise is bad, and the "my way or the highway" style of conservative politics is coming home to roost. I feel like this is a no-win for their style of governance.

So I feel discouraged plus I never know how to handle soil, what kind of soil, am I using too much light? Just so very intimidated.

I am pretty sure I killed the mint because I was over watering it in the planter. Once it started to look sick, nothing would save it. I attempted to grow basil by seed. It sprouted but it must have been too shallow as it was leggy, couldn't stand under the weight, turned brown and died.

I would love this content because I managed to kill basil and mint. I have the gumption to learn because it's a skill I need and me big dumb.

I feel like there is a plan to do this next on the national stage.
