“One young man sobbed when a guard pushed him to the floor. He said, ‘I’m not a gang member. I’m gay. I’m a barber.’ I believed him. *** He “began to whimper,” as his head was roughly shaved, “folding his hands in prayer as his hair fell.” He “asked for his mother & cried as he was slapped again.”

Im trying Sriracha for the first time since I got diagnosed with an allergy(to something found in things like spicy peppers, idk what) and OUCHIES. The benadryl has not kicked in yet, and I haven't tried anything more spicy than queso in years 😭 my face hurts. I miss spicy foods.

When States began criminalizing masks, we pleaded for support. We asked our peers to wear a mask in solidarity. 🧵

Everything I have known and been taught about my own country my whole life is that we take pride in our participation in the defeat of nazism. No economic situation is worth sullying the memories of the men and women who fought for our freedom. Do not flirt with nazism, it will not set you free.
