Nydia Velázquez is always a champion of democracy even when its hard. She was the only elected in her part of Brooklyn to challenge the corrupt Vito Lopez Democratic Machine. Her legacy is alive in AOC, Mamdani & more and by announcing this now she gives folks time to run a fair primary. Respect!

I completely agree with this statement. It’s a good movie that shows the importance of empathy. Apparently to MAGA having empathy is woke and political.
I saw Superman and, based on the right-wing freakout, I was fully expecting something deeply political. I’ve never seen a more straightforward good vs evil movie. It was the kind of good vs evil story that you make for small children, naturally. What a way for the MAGA crowd to tell on themselves.
