Those "concerned parents" outside "migrant hotels" remind me a lot of the paedophile mob panic created by the News of the World's "name and shame" campaign in 2000.

Same idiots. Same press. Same mentality.

Yes - the News of the World.

Remember why they shut down?

Don't you just love misleading statistics? The Torygraph announces that 12% of prisoners are foreign born, ignoring the fact that 16% of the UK population is foreign born.

The conclusion here is that foreign born people are less likely to be criminals in jail, the opposite of what they're reporting

We have had the perfect example this last weekend of why we urgently need to update how we regulate media.

The Guardian headline: Government drops health push after ultra-processed food firm lobbying.

Loads of Labour bashing results.

Yet paragraph 8 tells it happened 2yrs ago under the Tories.

No people can be ruled without consent. I have no desire to see the UK break up into smaller, weaker nations, but without the opportunity to break from the rest of the union, it cannot be called a union.
NEW: Michael Gove has said there could be a second independence referendum in Scotland if the public show 'overwhelming support' for one

No work should be unpaid. If a criminal isn't a danger to society, why imprison them at all? Fines and community service are surely sufficient? Community service isn't work and this article confuses the two and makes it sound like work is a punishment rather than something satisfying and worthwhile.
Work offering skills, training, dignity, pay, opportunity, an easing into normal life, yes. Work that is forced, performative, and humiliating - will achieve what, exactly? And jobs should not be replacing those councils should be able to fund www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Criminals could fill potholes and clean bins under government plans
Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood is said to want to expand unpaid work, which she believes to be too lenient.

We have a minimum wage, why not a maximum wage?

You have earned £1,000,000, now you pay 100% tax.

Seems fair.

Thames Water who are £21bn in debt and just raised their customers bills by £800m a year, have given their executives a 50% bonus totalling more than £5m.

Why aren't they all in jail?

What I genuinely don't understand is why he would lie so blatantly. Isn't it obvious that people would point out the lie and mock him for it? Is it that his cultists will just believe him, no natter the lies spouted?
I finally found my tweet from the last time this ridiculous bullshit popped up.🤣
