It is an injustice for disabled women to be paid just 56 cents for every dollar paid to nondisabled men.
I introduced a resolution with Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick to commemorate Disabled Women’s Equal Pay Day and affirm that disabled women deserve to be treated with dignity & respect.
