Being able to get your name legally changed as a trans person is such an ordeal but knowing that by the end of this year I'll finally have the name that fits me is nice. Probably the only good thing that will happen this year but I'll take it.

I am begging whoever at NBC makes the decision about what commentators are on the Olympic open/closing ceremony, please stop having celebrities. It makes the entire show awkward as fuck and hard to watch with audio.

One of my favorite coworkers is being bullied into quitting by two of our managers and I'm so mad for her. She does so much for this store and yet they treat her like absolute garbage and talk to her like she's dirt.

honestly really tired of everything I do amounting to nothing. I work but it's never enough, nothing I can do ever helps me get ahead. I've been on the edge of a cliff for over a year now and I'm really just ready to jump off of it at this point.

I'm starting to get tired of apps (or is it the phone?) "correcting", which is to say, randomly changing, words I typed correctly into different words that make less sense. It was bad enough when typos were changed into different words, but now casual typing on a phone feels like a battle of wills.

I swear, working retail is such an annoying job I don't blame the folks who leave on their first day. I'm not even on the customer service side anymore and yet somehow dealing with the management side is worse.
