I dunno. When I was a kid, I saw Bowie, the hair bands who look more like drag queens, women in the 90s wearing flannel and combat boots.
No one questioned their masculinity/femininity. They just did what they wanted. As a culture, I thought we got past a lot of these stupid gender stereotypes.
