This. Is. Illegal.
If anything like the rule of law were in force, Trump couldn't arbitrarily increase a tariff because he is annoyed.

The Ig Nobel is incredible , one year an Indian guy won it for calculating the average surface area of an elephant and during his acceptance they had an elephant hold up a sign with the surface area of the scientist on it, they do showbiz better than the Oscars

Asking "Is AI real intelligence or not?" really misses the point badly.
Rather ask whether AI has useful applications.
* LLMs are the only halfway decent approach to machine translation; Google Translate can be pretty horrible.
* Vector embeddings can be incredibly useful for search.
And so on.

"[T]he parade" feels like Trump-style phrasing to me, has it rubbed off on everyone? Oh well, this is one of those rare occasions that Rand is right.
