I don’t think we get to this point without a deeply misogynistic society that believes, on some level, that a certain amount of violence and predation against women and children is normal, or at least excusable. For Chrissakes, they were calling that “locker room talk.”

This was entirely about purging a trans instructor from the school and they succeeded. It was aided by a lot of dumb liberals taking it at face value arguing the minutia of grading rubrics while ignoring the obvious bad faith efforts behind this.

It’s especially weird being a design student right now, bc you’re being told “AI is a just a tool if you use it correctly,” but nobody can tell you HOW you’re supposed to use it. So we have kids using ChatGPT to “generate ideas” instead of learning how to research, or think creatively. Dire times!
I find the idea that you need to know “how to use” AI tools really funny, as if it isn’t incredibly easy to type in prompts and the marketing these tools is that literally anyone can do it
