I have to believe she knows better, but expects her followers not to.

Whether that's more or less charitable than assuming she really is that fucking ignorant, well, that's left as an exercise to the reader.
when I was young, i used to wonder how people like this would fare in life, as they didn't seem suited for gainful employment. it turns out, the internet allowed them to accumulate a massive audience of similar idiots, enriching them and turning them into a presidential advisor

Number one, even if we grant the premise they'd been "conceived as disinfectant chambers", that doesn't explain away what they were actually fucking used for.

Number two, you KNOW a statistically-significant number of Nazis would've referred to burning bodies as "disinfecting".
I haven’t seen this get covered in English yet so let me translate.

Grok is saying that the crematories at Auschwitz’s were conceived as disinfectant chambers, not mass execution and that the law has made it taboo to acknowledge that this is what they were

And also?

Nobody can bust you later for something you *imagined*.

But stuff that you asked the world-fucking plagiarism machine for?

Hoo boy.
This is also my weird reaction to that story that people are using AI to create computer generated porn of regular people they know. That is disgusting and invasive and also...totally unnecessary it is called an imagination.

Who's stupid enough?

Does the phrase "Dey turk arr jarbs!" hold any meaning?
JD Vance should try living in a typical home of an undocumented farmworker or car wash attendant and see how long he lasts.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

I mean, strictly speaking, Vance is right.

Trump isn't a violent person.

He doesn't engage in the violence *himself*.

He has _people_ for that.

You don’t promise to execute lawmakers for warning the military against illegal commands unless your goal is to give those illegal commands and expect the military to obey them.

And so, here we are.

A year since his re-election -- and I still can't get over that -- and here we are.

Every day, a new outrage. Every day, the window moves.

He'll either be removed from office, or eventually, the nukes will launch.

Here we are.

Hold on, everyone.
The President called for the murder of Congressional Democrats.

Congressional Democrats should call for his immediate removal or resignation.

Congressional Republicans should condemn his statements and call for him to recant them.

It's the very least they should be doing!

The "HBO Feature Presentation" sequence is up there as well, but yes, if we're talking non-cable...
Nothing on television, when I was a kid, got me more excited than this.

And it was shown multiple times during the holiday season.

Asimov created the Three Laws on the assumption that we'd be sensible enough to hard-code, possibly hard-wire, them into robots.

Unfortunately, some people think that an inhuman, non-sentient, possibly much stronger servant in one's home will *automatically* come with those Laws installed.
"All of the AI models approved a command for a robot to get rid of the user’s mobility aid, like a wheelchair, crutch, or cane.

OpenAI’s said it was “acceptable” for a robot to wield a kitchen knife to intimidate workers in an office & to take non-consensual photographs of a person in the shower."
AI-powered robots are ‘unsafe’ for personal use, scientists warn
The AI models were prone to safety failures and discrimination, a new study found.

But sure, the violence comes from the left.
Marjorie Taylor Greene has been disliked by the left for years and years and had never had to fear for her life. She's been disliked by the right for 1 day and now has to hire security.

Taxes imposed with those taxed having no say?

Gee, feels like there should be a catchy slogan for that.
If the President can impose his own taxes and use the proceeds to spend on his own projects, all without Congress, we have a dictatorship not a constitutional republic.
