This is genuinely a fantastic plan. Wait until he says something particularly awful and just walk out. He’s self-destruct
I actually think the dems should attend the SOTU, wait till the 2nd sentence, and then walk out en masse, that'll do it, there'll be no address, he'll just have a meltdown on national Tv

It'll also have another effect- all the conversation will be about what the Dems did instead of what trump said. Thats how you win a media cycle in 2025. And him getting even madder about it is your bonus achievement unlock

Good morning.

The House voted yesterday to kick millions of off their health care, close rural hospitals, and shut down addiction clinics.

All in order to afford a giant tax cut for Elon Musk, Donald Trump and their billionaire and corporate friends.

@chrismurphyct.bsky.social why are you not posting on here first ? You have some great things to say. You are trying some great things. Yet you post on X where 100pct of the replies are meaningless and hateful.

It's not all roses here, but the engagement has depth and real convos happen

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Kudos to GOP Senator Thom Tillis for calling out Trump’s dangerous policy of surrendering to war criminal Putin.

Now, he and other pro-Ukraine Republicans should start using their power as U.S. senators to restrain Trump as much as possible.

A brutal and well-deserved takedown of a shamefully derisible position.
This is, in no uncertain terms, a rout.

The New York Times published an unfortunate op-ed trying to legally justify Trump administration's #Birthright citizenship order.

Here, five leading scholars show, with analytic precision, how that op-ed was "fundamentally flawed and irresponsible."⬇️
The Fundamental Flaws in the Barnett/Wurman Defense of Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Executive Order
"In their apparent effort to give credence to the Trump Executive Order, Professors Barnett and Wurman indefensibly ignore these core, constitutive principles."

Non-zero chance Trump, Musk and Putin are now in an open alliance to destroy the democracies of the West.

We need to be talking about it more.

So, they are
- illegally dismantling US govt, disabling Congress
- burning our alliances, turning US into global pariah
- reigniting inflation, exploding the deficit, unraveling US public health system
- putting backdoors into Treasury
This feels more like an attack on the US than a new government.
