I mean Joe Biden regularly rode the train. Guess he's stronger than these conservative "big men".
Sean Duffy: "The truth is, transit across America is dangerous. And these liberals -- liberal mayors -- they want everybody out of cars and into trains but they made the trains unsafe so nobody really wants to ride them ... even big men don't want to ride the subway at those times of night."

This is go to prison forever malfeasance. A guy who is currently a SpaceX employee also serves as an FAA official who cancels a big contract to award instead no-bid to his own employer and starts installing hardware without statutorily required tests and assurances
Of course, Ted Malaska has a whopping conflict of interest here.

He is both:
- a SpaceX employee (identifying himself as a "SpaceXer" on his Twitter/X profile),
&
- federal employee -- and important one at that --"leading an engineering unit inside the FAA."

America does not need a ‘resistance,’ or stale slogans, or people putting those slogans on little paddles. It needs an opposition party that boldly defends the nation’s virtues, the rule of law, and the rights of its people.

Being a historian, people ask me if I think the US is living through Germany 1933.

I answer no, analogies are always imperfect but to me it feels more like Russia 1999: a blatant theft of state assets and liberals in a fugue state, refusing to believe the arc of progress is bending against them.

It’s a fair wager this change in policy can be traced to the unconstitutional birthright citizenship executive order.
Rationale unclear, but reasonable to wonder if this is a pilot program designed to make it harder for immigrant parents to document that their babies (entitled to birthright citizenship) are indeed citizens
Definitely more burdensome for new parents, particularly given how spread out Maine's pop is

What you want from economic policy is constant chaotic day to day volatility combined with extreme complexity and opacity.
Just now in the Oval: Trump has signed action officially adjusting tariffs vs Canada/Mexico, saying all goods not compliant with USMCA will still see 25% tariffs (or 10% on energy).

WH official says roughly 50% of Mexican imports, 62% of Canadian imports are NOT compliant, so tariffs remain there.
