Far too many studios confuse red carpet/social media famous with actually being a star. The vast majority of the current “stars” fall into the former and not the latter.
Another issue: The gap between who media and the internet thinks is a big star and who normie moviegoers think is a big star is widening. We can talk about Sydney Sweeney all day long, but say her name to a lot of people over 40 and I promise you, you will be greeted by a blank stare. >

It’s hard to believe but there was a cartoon about an immigrant mouse and it was seen as totally fine and not controversial and not woke because it was an aspirational and nice thing about America that people could come here and find a better life

I think people hated it so much because it hit too close to home. We all know someone, if it wasn't us personally, who's been in a situation similar to that. And we'd all like to think we would pick the alternative option, but it doesn't work out like that sometimes lol
I’m pretty sure she said it was most realistic and it was lol…… you don’t know what you’ll do until you’re in that situation which most would go back after healing and growing
