I'm not explaining myself. Judge me on my behaviour.

In my pre-Bellingcat days, I worked for an organisation that housed asylum seekers, and I'd challenge anyone who think they get an easy time to spend a few months living in the same conditions and see how they feel about it then.
When I did a story on conditions in migrant hotels, there was a woman who would have to wash the spicy sauce off the pasta - in the sink - because there was no meal suitable for her toddler. She felt like a bad mum who couldn’t feed her own child

This is what democracy looks like…
It’s a choice
It’s made by showing up each day.
It isn’t the big speech, a media hit, punditry, or even the autocrats lies.
It’s showing others you aren’t afraid and finding small things you can uniquely do to make a difference.

4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care - Los Angeles Times

Don’t ever tell me that Christians support the GOP. There is nothing Christian or Christ-like about this. Just plain old cruelty and callousness:
4-year-old Bakersfield girl facing deportation could die within days of losing medical care
In 2023, a Mexican girl, 4, was allowed U.S. entry for lifesaving medical care. She and her parents, who live in Bakersfield, have been told they must leave.

Hey British media,
It’s no surprise that if you give Farage the run of the place, he’ll start winning.
Time to do your actual jobs and start interrogating him on his Brexit shitshow, his funding, his Trumpiness, his idiotic manifesto, his real plans for the NHS… instead of drumrolling him into No.10

Do you know how much CEO pay has skyrocketed since 1978?

100%? 500%?

Try 1,085%

Meanwhile, the $7.25/hr fed. minimum wage hasn't budged in 15 years and the tipped min. wage has been $2.13/hr since 1991.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Every "yes" Trump gets speeds him up to both keep revictimizing his target and moving onto others. Tell him no. Waste his time. Make him fight. Drag it out.

And the more people who say no, the more resources he has to expend. He is not unlimited in time and energy. Waste his.

I worry that the intense focus on one person who was illegally renditioned to El Salvador, Mr. Abrego Garcia, obscures the hundreds of others who were also deported. Many of them had pending cases in immigration court, which makes their deportations also illegal.
