The case for rejoining the Single Market and Customs Union is clear. A closer trading relationship with Europe would lower costs, cut red tape, and give businesses, exporters, and traders the support they need.

We can talk about the economics and whether the EU would allow it but, from a domestic politics POV, rejecting the idea would be perverse.

The only groups Labour might hope to appease wouldn't be and are a minority.

Nearly 1 in 6 LGBTQ+ people report being threatened with or subjected to conversion practices.
Conversion practices are unscientific, ineffective and inflict actual harm on individuals.
It’s time for the Government to stop delaying and publish the draft Bill.

I have a problem with this statement. If people “knew nothing”, why did they cut ties “before his crimes came to light”? Seems like an admission that many of them knew full well what was happening and did nothing, even if they wanted nothing to do with his sordid activities themselves.

WOW: The DOJ has DELETED an image from its release of the Epstein files that shows photos of Trump in a drawer.

Yesterday, we noted that this image — file 468 — likely slipped through the cracks while officials were attempting to hide materials pertaining to Trump.

Now, it’s gone.
