The thing about crashing a tank through a museum of antiquities is that you don't have to be a particularly skilled driver to do a lot of damage.
It's difficult at times to hold both "this admin is doing lasting and serious damage to our institutions and the globe" and "this admin is full of the most bafflingly incompetent idiots you've ever seen who fall over themselves like a Vaudeville act constantly."

It's interesting because the panel in isolation comes off a lot differently than it does in the context of the strip. The humor is that we relate to Calvin even as we understand that his outrage is disproportionate to the situation at hand, and that unlimited pie wouldn't actually be good for him.

the constitution says you must be 35 to be eligible to serve as president. now, let’s say a presidential nominee was born on february 29, 1972, a leap year. and let’s say they were running in 2024. now, technically, they would only be 13. you could say they were ineligible. but that’s stupid! (1)

Briefwahlunterlagen verloren? Dann kann man sich bis morgen, Samstag 12:00 Uhr, bei der zuständigen Gemeindebehörde neue Unterlagen erhalten. Ansonsten gibt es nämlich KEINE Möglichkeit am Sonntag seine Stimme abzugeben, weder im Wahllokal noch in der Behörde.

Montag 10 Uhr ist Fristablauf um die Wahlunterlagen noch über den Kurierdienst der Botschaft zu versenden. Keiner der Deutschen, die ich auf Island kenne, hat überhaupt schon die Wahlunterlagen.

Der enge Zeitplan vor der Bundestagswahl stellt Dresden vor große Herausforderungen. Die Stadt appelliert deshalb, möglichst keine Briefwahl zu beantragen.
