If you’ve survived sexual violence more than once, the justice system might use that against you.

The use of so-called ‘victim bad character’ evidence is harming survivors.

Join our campaign #BadExperiencesNotBadCharacter to help us change the law.

When do Boris Johnson and friends face consequences for corruption that led to negligent homicide? Imagine turning down the Crick Institute, whose furloughed staff were willing to volunteer their time, to pay consultants at freaking Deloitte to manage not-yet-established private labs in a pandemic.
Astonishing evidence at the Covid Inquiry.

The Government repeatedly ignored offers from the Crick Institute to provide mass testing on a national scale.

Instead, the Government paid Deloitte consultants to project manage, not yet established, privately run labs.

16m people live in poverty. Average real wage unchanged since 2008.

Rich buy political parties and legislators; weaken democracy; pollute more.

Must reduce inequalities, redistribute. Tax the rich.

The Government needs to scrap the two-child limit.

Last summer, Labour committed to an "ambitious" child poverty strategy.

Cutting welfare says otherwise.

Our new report by Baroness Ruth Lister sets out how to begin to deal with the broken system.
