Friends please stop saying immigrants are treated poorly because they are “seen as criminals” as tho if they were “criminals” it would justify torture or no medical care or food. The violence we acquiesced to is what got us here. High time we recognize NO human deserves to be treated this way.

The idea that enhancing surveillance in academic buildings will protect students from mass shootings is absolutely fucking preposterous. What it will increase is the criminalization of our students. Reject it!!!

Now I have to find a clinic or pro bono lawyer to take the case because filling out the long and complicated form is no longer sufficient. The bureaucratic killing of people has long been part of this country but this moment is really taking it to new heights.

I’m so frustrated. I’m trying to help a Haitian man file an asylum claim as tps is being terminated. I jsut spoke to a lawyer friend to look over the claim — she informed me that asylum is so much harder to submit now & requires more documentation to not just be rejected on its face.

It's what they did with trans youth. They centered the perspectives of certain doctors and parents rather than the youth at issue themselves. Then they do the "just asking questions" bit that launders terrible dehumanizing rhetoric and undermines their dignity and rights.

That's what this is about. They spoke a lot to the parents of autistic children but almost never to the children themselves. It centers the perspectives of allistic people instead. They absolve themselves of this problem by focusing on high needs autistic children they claim they can't speak with.

Why would you include this? Why would you allude to the completely disproven link of vaccines to autism? This is absolutely irresponsible to reinforce that link like this. Not to mention, focusing so much on the cause and genetics of autism like it's a disease that needs curing. It's eugenics.
