So. I got bored the other day so I wrote a shortcut for iOS that grabs text from images and reads it aloud for you. Open the image, tap Share, scroll down to Speak Image Text. That's how to invoke it. Caveat: Apple OCR can sometimes be shitty and confusing. Sorry.

Do not cram alt text with keywords just to improve search engine optimization. This will hinder alt text’s true purpose: improving accessibility. Focus on describing the photo's content. Search engine optimization should not be the goal for writing good alt text.

Astro.build is pretty awesome, only that it's bit of an overkill to have to use an entire bundling and build system for a simple personal site.

Astro builds fast content sites, powerful web applications, dynamic server APIs, and everything in-between.

The speed improvement in Ghostty is pretty impressive, but there are still a few things I miss from Kitty:

- Recognizing "cut-off" links -- a huge thing in IRC clients!
- Automatically wrapping pasted text in quotes at the prompt
- Automatically sanitizing pasted text from escape codes

1 more thing on alt text for tonight. I have had at least a dozen people who have asked me what alt text is/why it's important

Many folks simply don't know. Most seem happy to include it when they understand

While it's important to vigorously encourage people to use it, be inclusive to them too

Good writeup from @css-tricks.com on the situation with "Masonry"† and whether it belongs as part of grid or its own `display` type. It's largely neck-and-neck and won't move unless some minds on either side change.
