This smells like an LLM wrote it. "Repeats nice sounding comparisons without quoting any real people" and "salesman trying to get me to buy into something" are smells.

My Christmas present to myself this year is an emergency trip to the ergonomic desk chair shop. I was using a Herman Miller chair at Arcade.dev for a week, and my back pain disappeared! Now it's back. I must go do the thing.

Travel hack: a hotel bar can be a makeshift coworking space, even if you aren't staying in the hotel! It is like a cafe, but you won't be inconveniencing anyone for sticking around for quite some time. They are used to travelers lingering!
