Tomorrow is another day to do the work and carry the light in honor of those who carried it before us. We can’t let them down, so we don’t give up. We’ll get up tomorrow. 💙

Extraordinary courage from Ahmed al Ahmed, a Muslim, 43-year-old father of two, who bravely risked his life to save his neighbors celebrating Hanukkah.

Praying for his full & speedy recovery.

And so deeply inspired by his example.

Rob Reiner was one of the key people behind the effort to go to court to overturn California's anti-marriage equality Proposition 8 when it passed in 2008.

Working with Chad Griffin, they founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights and got Ted Olson and David Boies to team up to fight Prop 8.

Feeling completely justified for staying in the cozy bed with Bootsy this snowy morning.
A pet sleeping next to you feeling so safe and comfy is genuinely the most any human can really ask for

It makes you feel like maybe you aren’t so bad. You might even be good

It seems PPSE has gotten even worse than I experienced in my brief stint there in 2014/2015 (I didn’t even make it a year 😬).

IMO: let it rot so that more worthy organizations can take its place. @yellowfund.bsky.social has been leading the way for years now.

My dog’s face when I tell him to at least pretend to have some shame about how much he wants to go lick the dribbles out of his sister’s food bowl. “Who, me?”

The major flaw of the second half is the lack of Lucy Liu so it’s sorta downhill from here if you ask me.

It might be easy to find things like this merely petty or superficial, but that would be a mistake. Demeaning, erasing or eliminating celebrations or acknowledgments of Black America is straight from Redemption playbook, and is intended to reinforce the racial hierarchy and signal its reinstatement.

I know Paramount & Kevin Williamson are trying to snooker us back in with so much of the OG cast returning. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. We cannot forget that Melissa Barrera was fired for speaking up for Palestine. Make this decision hit them where it hurts the most--at the box office. Sit it out.
I did an interview on @mgapod.bsky.social with the Boycott Scream 7 movement so you can learn why you should spend your movie allowance elsewhere and not support a company censoring Palestinian rights activists! Give it a listen rss.com/podcasts/mid...

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.

This is ~~~~true~~~~ and we should say it
People want to believe that the GOP’s electoral success in red states is the result of dirty tricks and gerrymandering instead of the sincerely held beliefs of a majority of the population because a mechanical issue is easier to fix than wrestling with how to make people not believe what they do.
