I'm very saddened to learn that prolific British author & academic 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 has died. I was honored to be able to publish one of his medieval horror stories, "The Power of Prayer," in the debut issue of 𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘹 way back in 2003.
