It’s no exaggeration to say that Lady’s Island, Wexford, was one of Ireland’s most important nature sites with rare birds & plants. It had the highest levels of supposed conservation ‘protection’ in Irish/EU terms - but no state willingness to protect it. Ireland’s 40 shades of blue-green algae! [1]
