Ok people are misunderstanding what happened with Colin Wright. This isn't just a regular grift. What happened is Colin Wright's PhD advisor was Jonathan Pruitt who got caught perpetrating massive academic fraud. Pruitt was a coauthor on virtually everything Colin had published.
This guy *admits* he applied for "countless" tenure-track positions and ultimately had to leave academia because nobody would hire him. He claims, though, that Ivy League Cornell filled their position with a Black person who couldn't possibly be more qualified than him.

The White House has published a fact-sheet about the agreement with claims that directly contradict the European Commission's version of events.

Why am I so unimpressed by these strikes? Israel and the US have failed to target significant elements of Iran's nuclear materials and production infrastructure. RISING LION and MIDNIGHT HAMMER are tactically brilliant, but may turn out to be strategic failures. 🧵 1/17

Just listened to a strategist interviewed on Bloomberg Radio who described lower spending, no tax increase, and a reduced deficit as the "holy grail" that could "kickstart a secular bull market".

This is incredibly stupid macroeconomics and gets the analysis precisely backward. A 🧵.
