I mainly stock up on beer. I don't drink much in the house as I'm usually drinking at the pub but it's always handy to have some at home especially in the run up to Xmas. I also need to find a pair of new boots as my old ones have died - that's proving more challenging...
Black Friday is a horrible event for our planet, and I hate these e-mails. If you needed something anyway and there's a discount today, it's a win for you. But everything you buy has an impact on the planet. Don't be sucked into getting more stuff just because you can. Aim for better, not more!

One of several places I visited when stuck in Stockholm thanks to a certain volcano exploding. An absolutely stunning thing to see.
Today in 1628 the Vasa, the latest, most powerful and advanced ship in the Swedish navy set off on its maiden voyage.
After travelling about 1,300m it capsized and sank.
It was raised after 333 years on the seabed.
Today @thevasamuseum is one of my favourite places in the world.

I wish as many people wanted to actually click on Teen Vogue stories as like a post about our work being good and important, because this post is almost at 20k likes and that would be pretty good traffic!

This dental phantom was made around 1900 for dental students to practice their skills before treating real patients. A hat-maker’s dummy has been added to represent the head of the patient. The jaws contain removable brass teeth allowing various dental procedures to be practiced. (RCSIC/Z 149)
