This Spurs new manager every few minutes story is like the conveyor belt of underwhelming items on the Generation Game. Might as well give the job to a Goblin teasmade or a nest of tables.

£240m. With no tender. Palantir.

I wrote to Wes Streeting last week demanding answers.

Every day without any transparency deepens the scandal.

Palantir out.
Mandelson’s malign influence runs right through the heart of this Government.

Not least in the govt’s NHS data deal with Palantir – a spy-tech firm co-founded by a man who thinks the NHS should be ‘ripped up.’

I've written to Wes Streeting urging him to ditch this dangerous deal.

A hideous episode; Mandelson got trounced by poet Lemn Sissay in the vote to be Chancellor of the University of Manchester (vote by staff and students), so Mandelson went down the road to the neighbouring Manchester Metropolitan University and management rolled out the red carpet for him.
MMU deleted the page celebrating Mandelson’s appointment as Chancellor in 2016. 🤷‍♂️
Our neighbours at Manchester Met didn’t get to vote, and management appointed their preferred candidate.

1. In 2009 I wrote this. I argued that Peter Mandelson's department “functions as a fifth column within government, working for corporations to undermine democracy and the public interest.”
This thread explains what I saw, and reaches a startling conclusion.🧵

Starmer now all outraged and demanding Mandelson is removed from the Lords. He either ignored the evidence that M wasn’t a fit and proper person for the Ambassador role or the vetting and intel on M by his team was woeful.
Keir Starmer and his team repeatedly ignored and stonewalled questions about Peter Mandelson's relationship with Epstein, pushing ahead with making him ambassador anyway.

Here's my report on it from last year bylinetimes.com/2024/01/04/k...
