People are out here every single day showing how disconnected they are from communities where real folks live real lives. Those who are connected are fully aware of the 40 day fast of Target (3/5-4/17)— widely discussed. My social media-less elders have been talking about it for weeks now.
Just so we’re clear, a one day boycott is performative BS. A boycott that’s short, where the company knows when it’s going to end, is BS. If you’re going to boycott it has be for a while, long enough for it to hurt you. If it doesn't hurt you, it won’t hurt the corporation.
