I think the left needs to learn from Trumps re-election that people don’t care about ‘safeguarding institutions’ which are CONSTANTLY used as excuses/legislative hurdles to improving their lives.

I'm really still confused by Labour's comms strategy. Constantly talking about how much 'work needs to be done' comes across as so dour. Positivity and optimism goes a long way and I think it's what the electorate really want rn

This should go without saying, but it's okay if someone you don't agree with goes on a certain show or podcast. It's okay to be exposed to dissenting opinions. It's okay to feel uncomfortable. The biggest danger for the Democratic Party moving forward is the imposition of ideological purity tests.

I think we, as a culture, have really done ourselves a disservice by letting Patreon get positioned as a service people pay for.
Patreon isn't supposed to be about paying for access to certain works. It's supposed to be about investing in creators so those works can exist.
