Marching against genocide has nothing to do with antisemitism. And the more people are trying to frame solidarity with the Palestinian people as antisemitism, the more the word antisemitism looses meaning, which is not what we should want.

Oh nothing nothing just the Vice President of the United States saying aloud the truth.

In the MAGA system, cutting people’s healthcare is mere minutiae as long as you can keep up with your mass deportations and fund your concentration camps.

It would, obviously, be asking too much for our media and political class to care more about the repeated, state-directed criminal massacres of starving civilians in Gaza than what some rappers say at Glastonbury.

A quick reminder to all the Reform and assorted right wing types losing their collective minds over Glastonbury that an elected Reform councillor in County Durham called for 1.9 billion Muslims to be "nuked". He remains in post, no consequences, his violent rhetoric ignored.

It's increasingly obvious that Israel is using its current war to actively ethnically cleanse both Palestinian territories. The war crimes in Gaza are already many but that shouldn't overshadow its actions in the West Bank too.

Enough. Time for sanctions on the entire country.

The decision includes outposts already built without government authorisation, defence minister Israel Katz said A picture says a thousand words. And the imagery slowly seeping out of Gaza tells a story that many politicians and media figures are still doing their best to ignore or obfuscate. Updated satellite imagery on Google Maps of the devastated region, drone shots of dystopian aid checkpoints, and military maps of so-called “safe zones” make it increasingly hard to argue that Israel’s military “operation” (to use a sanitizing word the media is incredibly fond of) is about eradicating Hamas. This isn’t an operation – it’s a cremation: one with the ultimate goal of eradicating not just Palestinian life in Gaza, but Palestinian identity altogether… Israeli strikes killed at least 13 Palestinians overnight in Gaza, the Associated Press reports. According to local hospitals, Four were killed in a strike on a car in Gaza City late Wednesday, and another eight, including two women and three children, were killed in a strike on a home in Jabaliya. A strike on a built-up refugee camp in central Gaza killed one person and wounded 18. There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military, which says it only targets militants and blames civilian deaths on Hamas because the militants are embedded in populated areas. "Apologists for Israel might want to reject the charge of genocide [and] suggest its hyperbole or even antisemitic, but the actual experts on genocide know a genocide when they see one - and they see one in Gaza."

A shameful act in a long shameful history of oppression in the West Bank. I would like to know whether there is any opposition to these pogroms from within the general public in Israel. Does anyone here know anything about that?

I couldn’t agree more.
So this framing is fucking bullshit. The murder is horrific; acting like this is somehow the fault of the broader anti-genocide movement is fucking absurd.
The killings of two Israeli Embassy workers in Washington on Wednesday cast a harsh spotlight on the pro-Palestinian movement in the U.S. and the impact even peaceful protests might be having on attitudes against people connected to Israel.
