I just learnt that in the Greek version of SpongeBob Squarepants, Gary the snail is named Gari, short for σαλιγκάρι (pronounced salingari), which is the Greek word for snail.
In the episode where Homer adopts a pet lobster it is called Mr Pinchy. In the European French version of The Simpsons, Mr Pinchy is instead called Homard Simpson (homard means lobster in French)

I am old. I’ve been through so many waves of hustle culture. Outside of occasional crunch times, the overwork is always unnecessary, performative nonsense that provides cover for some combination of bad ideas, abusive leadership, disorganization, a total lack of strategy etc etc.
