Israel has just denied Dr. Mimi Syed entry into Gaza for a medical mission, despite her two prior volunteer trips. She says barring foreign medical workers, in addition to foreign journalists, is intended to hide the truth about desperate conditions inside the Palestinian territory.

To me, when that happened and electeds across the Democratic party did not get in formation, it became crystal clear that they would not even be moved by a self-preservation instinct. So here we now are.
