Checking my flowerbed to see if any of last years flowers are making a come back. I’ve got a tiny pansy, and a wallflower in under the rose bush ( I definitely didn’t plant it there).

Ooo exciting! I missed this one so great to be able to catch up 😁
Did you know someone who studies brambles is known as a ‘batologist’? Or that some bramble species have better fruits for cooking, jam making etc than others? No me neither, until those brambles got me hooked… 🤦 😂
If you missed David Earl's excellent webinar about Rubus (Brambles) - or if you were there but want to refresh your memory - no problem!
We recorded the whole thing & it's now up on our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=43jw...
Thanks to @daera-ni.gov.uk for funding this series of webinars.

I’m thankful to the universe that there exists bags of frozen partially cooked veg and or pasta that can be thrown into a frying pan/ wok, with left over cooked chicken. It’s a 10 minute proper meal.

Speaking of the dog, I may have slipped up and introduced a term into my mother's vocabulary that I'm worried she's going to start using without fully grokking what it means and that was a fuckup on my part...
