My D&D game fought their first dragon. I have been ramping up the fights & teaching them combat options.
The bard felt useless against the dragon because he was so mobile. I reminded her about readied actions. The next round she hit the dragon with a readied hypnotic pattern.

I highly recommend taking time out of life to just stop and be quiet and be present. I can never live an unexamined life - my brain doesn't work that way - but we all need a reset from time to time.

I run several games each week. I call one of them my 'baby game' because it has several first-time (and several not-in-a-long-time) gamers in it.
