Stranger Things makes a lot more sense in how bad it is when you realize the Duffner Brothers are my age. Meaning Stranger Things isn’t nostalgia for the 80’s, but 80’s movies they watched in the 90’s. It’s a copy of a copy of a copy. Diluted until it becomes a la croix

Why does every straight dude in Stranger Things have the same macho, needing to get over being overprotective character arc every single season, including the final season? Can we not, for the final season, just have everyone working together and respecting each other against the bad guy?
