WIP update: Gods, it's a race to the finish line. 1800 words written today, bringing me just ahead of 26k/30k words. Chapter 7 is done, which means Act 1 is done. We're officially in Act 2, people! And only 9 more chapters until the MCs kiss...! #WritingCommunity #AmWriting

Yes, and if all goes to plan, those side characters will become main POV characters in COTBM's sequel. We do get a glimpse of what happens to them once their own adventure kicks off, but don't get to learn everything until the second book. Sorry, I'm keeping this vague on purpose!

It's about time I buy new notebooks for next year, which means reevaluating my note-taking system(s) to see if I should make any adjustments. I attempted digital journaling this year, which didn't work out like I planned, so it's back to journaling by hand for me come January.

Lex has long, slightly wavy hair that's a bright, blood red color. On Belenos, she normally wears it in a fashionable updo, but once she's on the Katorgan Fleet, she wears it down and loose.
Daemrin has unruly, wavy black hair that he keeps at a medium-short length.

It’s funny you ask this, because there’s actually a group challenge in COTBM. Daemrin and his friends are trained soldiers, so they’re excellent at working together to accomplish any given task. No one slacks off or does more work than the others.

I love pitch events but burned out on them in the first half of the year and haven’t recovered yet. I also really enjoy prompt games but am choosy about the ones I answer. Most of all, though, I love seeing everyone’s writing updates, processes, struggles, and wins. #Lovember #WritingCommunity
I write internal communications for my company. I guess it all started in 2018 when I decided to break down a very complex and difficult topic—Heathenry, a Modern Pagan religion—into an easy-to-digest beginner’s guide. As it turns out, I have a knack for that sort of thing.

I love the occasional writing sprint, but after this month, I'm trying to slow down my writing so I can enjoy a better balance of hobbies. It's why I don't think I will participate in writeathons again. Prompts, on the other hand, never helped me. They do the opposite of inspire. #pretendpanel

Lex's culture, unfortunately, minimizes touch between people, reinforced by many layers of clothing and long sleeves + long pants + high necks (originally due to the cold climate). As a result, she's both unused to/awkward about it and *very* touch-starved.

Lex's culture, unfortunately, minimizes touch between people, reinforced by many layers of clothing and long sleeves + long pants + high necks (originally due to the cold climate). As a result, she's both unused to/awkward about it and *very* touch-starved.
I took half the day off work to run an errand and treated myself to peppermint hot chocolate, grilled cheese, tomato soup, and two books I read earlier this year (digitally) and thoroughly enjoyed.
This was only because I couldn't choose between so many books I haven't read yet but wanted to buy.
