Today was the rainiest day of the year in Seattle, and it didn't rain. The second rainiest day of the year (November 15, I believe) thus gained ground, but I believe it's still 3 years behind.

The Supreme Court should be expanded to 13 justices, because having some 6-7 decisions is an easy way to get kids interested in how the federal government works

Hey hey hey hey
Prediction: Katie Wilson will win the Seattle Mayoral election.

I base this less on the ballots tabulated today, and more on the fact that the *number* of ballots received rocketed way up in the last 36 hours. 1/x

Seattle mayor Bruce Harrell was putting out at least a press release daily celebrating all the amazing things the mayor's office was doing right up until, let's see, November 3.

Nothing since then, though. Weird!

First (partial) day of our solar energy system. Looks like we produced more energy than we consumed (so far), but most of it went to the battery.

Also, today was an exceptionally sunny day for November in Seattle. I expect soon we'll be hitting days where the production is pitiful.

My ballot was counted this year, but in a previous election is was rejected and I had to fix it — just took a couple of minutes. Make sure yours was counted Seattle! info.kingcounty.gov/kcelections/...

Scams undermine democracies and free enterprise by eroding general mutual trust. Meta’s business model incentivizes people to financially exploit each other.
(Reuters) - Meta internally projected late last year that it would earn about 10% of its overall annual revenue – or $16 billion – from running advertising for scams and banned goods, internal company documents show.
