The ATLA cards are so much better than Spider-Man that it's crazy, it feels like so much more care was given to every part of this set. The biggest sad so far is all the bending mechanics probably/definitely will not see a return in future sets unrelated to this IP, and some of them are sweet.

The "source material art" cards are so godawful it's hard to overstate. Low poly FF key art and now bad jpgs. Genuinely a waste of cardboard.

My thoughts are that if a card was intended to be aligned in the color pie as *BOTH* black and red, it would have both in the mana cost as separate pips- Hybrid mana has always seemed pretty clearly to me like an attempt to show that this card could be *EITHER* color. Maybe I'm missing context?

The most frustrating part is that I *DID* enjoy S2E8, up until the final few minutes.
And even then it wasn't even "Bad", it was just an unsatisfying ending to things. I get that I'm not in charge over at DC, but I think we could've handled another season or two before we were sick of the gang.

I assure you that as a Tron enjoyer, this absolutely was a Leto issue.
I am, for the most part, not a huge fan of UB. I think more people getting into Magic via an IP they love is great, but the saturation and sustainability is I think an inarguable concern.
However,
TMNT seems at first look to be a far more earnest trip into another IP, and this makes me happy.

I understand it just isn't "This easy", but where is my "Literally never show me AI art" button here? afaik I've never liked any AI art, and I'm constantly telling it that I'm not interested/to show me less, but it keeps showing up. I've banned tags, I've banned words, it still pops up.
